Locations

The Locations Page provides a platform to manage various location groups and individual locations. You can view, edit, add, and even export location data based on specific attributes.

Accessing the Locations Page

What : Access the Locations Page

Who : Global Admin .

How :

  • Go to https://tims.unhcr.org/ in your web browser.
  • Sign in with your username and password.
  • You'll be taken to the Home page after login.
  • Open the Locations page

Viewing Location Groups

On the Locations Page, you'll find a list of location groups with details such as:

  • Name

  • Status (Active or Inactive)

  • Visibility (Public or Private)

Editing Location Groups

To edit a location group:

  • Locate the location group in the list.

  • Click on the group's name to open the Location Group Profile.

  • In the Location Group Profile, you can edit the following attributes: Name, Countries, Status (Active or Inactive), Visibility (Public or Private)

Adding Locations to Groups

To add a location to a location group:

  • Within the location group profile, click on the "Add Location" button.

  • In the "Add Location" dialog, provide the following information:

Name, Assignee, Comment, Code, Parent, Status (Active or Inactive), Visibility (Public or Private)

  • Click "Save" to add the location to the group.

Exporting Locations Data

To export location data:

  • Within the location group profile, click on the "Export" button.

  • The system will generate a file (e.g., XLS) containing the visible location data.
